Mrs. Nicole Martin

Welcome to Karen Wagner High School!  I a looking forward to helping extend my students' understanding of algebra by maneuvering through many different mathematical functions.

A little about myself.  I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics in May of 1995 and got married to my husband Shelby in October of the same year.  After working for Chase Bank for three years from 2002 - 2005, I wanted a change and decided to become a math teacher mainly because of my love for numbers and enjoyment of math in my own academic career.

I began my teaching career in 2006 at Henry Metzger Middle School in Judson Independent School District and taught one year of 7th grade math and five years of 8th grade math, with 4 years of Pre-ap 8th grade Algebra I.  I moved up to the high school level in 2012 and decided to stay there.  I have taught Algebra I for 10 years and am teaching only Algebra II for the upcoming 2019-2020 school term.

I really appreciate my students, colleagues, and administration team and am excited to discover what the new year will bring for The Wagner Thunderbirds!
