My name is Elaine Owens and I am so excited for this year of learning and trying new things!  This is my fourth year at Rolling Meadows.  

In my non-school time I enjoy spending time with my grown children and my adorable grandchildren as well as my fur baby.  

I co teach 5th grade RLA, 2nd grade RLA and math, as well 3rd grade RLA. Before I joined the Rolling Meadows Wolf Pack I was a paraprofessional for several years in the beautiful state of Hawai'i where I fell in love with teaching. 

I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University (class of '93) and I returned to school to earn my teacher certification at UTSA  (so I am also a proud Road Runner).  I currently hold certifications in  Special Education (EC-12) and Core Subjects (EC-6) through a post baccalaureate program.  This past summer I decided to return to school as a student and I am working on my Masters of Education in Special Education at Texas A&M.
