8th Grade U.S. History 2022-2023

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach 8^th grade U.S. History to our Mustang Family.  I look forward to helping students learn our nation's history and develop the critical skills and tools that will keep them on their path to success.

 I am a veteran of the U.S. Army, where I proudly served my country for 8 years.  In 2012, I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.   My career as an educator began at Metzger Middle School in 2012 as a student teacher and then as a 6^th grade World Cultures teacher.  Since that time, I have had the opportunity to teach 7^th grade Texas History and 8^th grade U.S. History for the past 6 years.   

I look forward to a great year and hope to make your child's learning experience one to remember.
