Welcome to 7th Grade ELAR at Metzger Middle School!  My name is Samantha Escobedo, and I am pleased to be continuing my teaching career here in Judson ISD. This will be my 9th year teaching middle school ELAR.  

I was 9th in my high school graduating class in 2007 and a DAP graduate from PSJA Memorial High School in Alamo, Texas. After that, I attended the University of Texas Pan-American in Edinburg, Texas from which I received my degree in 2010; Bachelor of Fine Arts in Literature with a minor in Psychology. I began my teaching career with Progreso ISD in the Rio Grande Valley and taught there for three years until I received a job offer from Judson and relocated to San Antonio. This will be my sixth year with the district and with Metzger Middle School and I'm excited about starting a new year with a new group of students!
