Hello and Welcome Back!!!!

 My name is Jennifer Gore and I am excited for the 2022-2023 school year!! I know everyone is a bit anxious but we will get through this together. I have been in education for 10 years now, 9 of them at Metzger. I've spent the past 7 years (this year will make 8) teaching Texas history. Prior to being a teacher, I was a restaurant manager for approximately 13 years. I have 2 children, a son who is 20 years old and serving in the Air Force and a daughter who is 16 and a Junior in High school. I have a Bachelors in Business Management, a Masters in Business Administration. I am Alternatively Certified as a teacher with an additional certification as an ESL teacher.

I am very passionate about history as it has taught us where we have come from and with it, we will learn where we are to go. There is something about digging up the past to help make sense of the present.
