Personal and Professional Information for the 2022-2023 School Year:

I’m really enjoying teaching ELAR to all of my awesome 6^th graders at Kitty Hawk Middle School. I graduated from Southwest Texas State University (now called TSU) in 1992 with a BA in Journalism and English. 

This is my 27^th year as an English teacher, and 23 of those years have been right here at Kitty Hawk teaching 6^th grade English. I’m also the ELAR (English Language Arts Reading) Department Chair.

I’m certified to teach 6^th-12^th grade English and I’m certified in ESL as well.
