Ms. Renee Walker
I am a Physical Education and Athletic Teacher at Kitty Hawk Middle School. I have been coaching and teaching at Kitty Hawk for 25 years. My goals for each of my students is to be a well round individual mentally, socially and physically.
I graduated from Schulenburg High School in 1984, and attended Texas Lutheran College on a Volleyball Scholarship from 1984 - 1988. I started all four years that I played at Texas Lutheran. My Freshman year, we were 4th place National Champions in our Divisions. I also participated in Basketball for 3 years and ran Track for 1 year at Texas Lutheran.
I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Texas Lutheran and began teaching at a St. James Catholic School in Seguin Texas. I taught there for 10 years until I got the job at Kitty Hawk Middle School.
I learned to be a good teacher from my father who coached and taught for 61 years in the public-school system. I also had 3 of my siblings that were teachers and coaches. I know what it takes to be successful and I want to instill my knowledge and passion for sports and games to all my students. I want my students to be well round people who are mentally, socially and physically healthy and strong in their lives.
