Welcome Flyers to the 2022-2023 school year!

My name is Coach Russ Chavez and I am excited to be here at Kitty Hawk.

I will be teaching Health and PE as well as coaching  Football, Boys Basketball, and Boys and Girls Tennis this year.

I have been teaching and coaching at all levels as this is my 33rd year, from elementary PE and The Spring Hawks Jump Demonstration/ Competitive Team to UTSA Racquetball Team, and a wide variety of other sports at junior high and high school.

I am currently the Vice President of TaHPERD div. Recreation, my state professional organization.
