I am looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great year at Kitty Hawk. 

A little about me: I graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School in 2004, received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2008 from the University of Texas at Austin, and my Masters Degree in Instructional Technology in 2010 from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I am the Dyslexia Therapist at Kitty Hawk and am a Certified Academic Language Therapist; trained through The Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital and Rauson Saunders. 

This is my 6th year providing dyslexia therapy, and my 11th year in the classroom. I have taught in Alamo Heights ISD, East Central ISD, and Judson ISD. I am eager to get the 2022-2023 school year started, to help my students improve their reading skills, and work with their families to have the most successful middle school experience possible. It's going to be a crazy year, but I'm here to help in any way I can!
