Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year.  I am looking forward to an amazing year.  This is my 10th year at Kirby and 19th year in education.  Before this, I served our country in the U.S. Navy. I teach RLA (Reading Language Arts).  Your child will have me for 2 separate class periods.  One class will be reading focused and the other is writing focused.  Sometimes the 2 classes will connect and other times they will not. I look forward to guiding and helping your child improve in not only reading and writing, but in their self-esteem as they improve in both areas.
