This is my fourth year teaching all levels of English at Judson Learning Academy. I previously taught English at Highlands High School for 3 years. Not only am I JLA's English teacher, I am also the Special Education teacher and the ESL/ELL teacher.

I grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Churchill High School. I attended Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, where I earned a BA in Psychology with minors in English and Criminal Justice. Prior to becoming a teacher, I helped run group homes for people with special needs as well as working with foster youth.

I am certified to teach English Language Arts and Reading 4-8 and 8-12; Special Education EC-12; and English as a Second Language.

I am happily married to my military husband, and we have two amazing children.
