I am looking forward to the 2023-2024 school year and getting to know each and every one of my students.
A little about myself. I am a graduate of Judson High School. I am also a product of the Judson vocational program. I have my cosmetology license which I earned while a student at Judson High School. I graduated from San Antonio Community College with an Associate in Liberal Arts. I received my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. I received my Master's Degree in Secondary Education.
I began teaching for Judson ISD in 2007. I taught at Metzger Middle School for eight years. I have taught 6-8 social studies and I have also been a special education teacher, special education department chair, and an ARD facilitator.
This is my 9th year at JSTEM Academy, where I teach 7th-grade Pre-AP and GT Texas History. I am the social studies department chair. I am also the sponsor of JSTEM's Girls Build Team, "Making Herstory Count".
