Ms. Barb Brandon
Thanks for stopping by my webpage!.
This year, I will be teaching Inclusion US History at JHS. I also provide Case Manager support for Special Education students on the JHS campus.
I was fortunate to attend the University of Wisconsin: Stout and graduate with honors in 1981 with a degree in Vocational Rehabilitation. This gave me expertise in preparing Special Education students for life after high school. I also was a member of the 2nd collegiate class in the United States to be awarded a degree in Special Education. This gave me expertise in providing academic instruction to Special Education students.
This is my 43rd year in education. During my career, I have taught direct instruction and provided inclusion in Math, English, CTE, Social Studies, Science, and Work Experience. I started teaching in Minnesota, then came south to warmer weather. In Texas I have taught in Floresville, Schertz-Cibolo, Northside ISD, and Judson ISD. I have held district positions as a teacher, Work Program Coordinator, Computer Software Evaluator, and Transition Services Specialist.
If you need to contact me, please don’t hesitate to email or call and leave a message. While in class, I concentrate on working with the kids. But I will return your messages as quickly as possible. I can also be reached through the Special Education office.
