I am so excited to be here, as I am a 1997 graduate of Judson High school.
I’m in my 20th year of teaching and coaching, 18 of which have been at Judson. I currently teach health and have taught Spanish before as well. I’m the College Coordinator and receiver coach on the football team and I am the head track coach. I have an Associates Degree in Spanish Studies from BYU Idaho, a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from Texas Lutheran University and a Masters Degree in Athletic Administration from Concordia University.
During my tenure at Judson High School, we have been blessed with great student athletes in football and track. We have made two State Title Appearances, 13 Play-Off Appearances, 22 All-District Wide Receivers, and 2 All-District Return Specialists. In track, we have been fortunate to have a steady stream of state qualifiers and a team State Championship in 2013. In 2019 we were gold medalists in the 4x200 meter relay. We were State Runner Ups in 2018 medaling in the 4x200 relay and a 3rd place finish in 2017 while medaling in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays. The accomplishments of our great student athletes and my assistant coaches has helped me be named the San Antonio Express News Track Coach of the Year for the 2017 and 2018 season. I count myself blessed to be able to work every day with men and women who love kids and love what they do. I am also grateful to have worked with some exceptionally gifted athletes who understand the value of hard work and dedication to their craft, even in times of great adversity.
