Mrs. Christina Lopez-Mobilia
Welcome to my teacher page! I hope to provide strong instruction and get to know each one of my student's strengths and weakness to help them evolve into successful citizens. Let me start by introducing myself. Personally, I know the value of a JISD education because I am a product of this system and was fortunate to have wonderful teachers. After graduating from Judson High School, I went to Baylor University. From there I transferred to St. Mary's University and received my Bachelor's and began working in the non-profit world. In 2015, I graduated from UTSA with my Master's and began working in the educational system. Being exposed to the schools through my non-profit work, I felt the classroom was where I was most needed. I am currently in my fourth year of teaching at Judson HS. The courses I have taught include: AP Psychology, Sociology, US History, and World History. I have also taught different levels of learners from AP to Dual Credit to Spec Ed. In addition to teaching in the classroom, I am also the National Honor Society sponsor (NHS) and enjoy working with our student leaders.
When I am not in my classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband Mauricio and traveling. We have two pets, a cat and dog, who love to be spoiled. I enjoy being physically active and hiking at various national parks. Although I devote a great deal of time to my classroom, I can best be reached via email. I look forward to working with all my students this year!
