I am so enthusiastic about this school year! I am positive that this will be a great year filled with lots of learning and fun! I look forward to teaching your child to meet their full potential academically, physically, emotionally, and socially.

I graduated from the University of Texas @ Brownsville in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I have been in the teaching profession for numerous years. I taught 1st grade for the most part of my teaching career in the Rio Grande Valley. I moved to the San Antonio area in August 2017 to join the Judson ISD team of fantastic educators. This will be my second year at Hartman Elementary. Last year, I taught third grade. The year prior, I taught second grade at Masters Elementary School. Second grade is a fantastic grade, and I am very excited to be working with this age group again. I know we are going to have a lot of fun learning this year.

My goal is to give your child the best education possible in a caring and supportive learning environment that teaches respect for others and respect for themselves. I believe that a student, his or her parents, and the classroom teacher are a team that work together to make a student’s experience in school not only enjoyable, but as successful as it possibly can be. With that in mind, please know that my door is always open to you. I’m so glad to be a part of your child’s education and development both academically and emotionally, and look forward to another successful and productive school year!
