My name is Tonya Hutton and I am excited to be partnering with you on this Pre-Kindergarten journey.  I LOVE teaching early childhood.  I have been teaching for 18 years.  I have taught Kindergarten for 13 years and Pre-Kindergarten for 5 years.

I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2002.  I have always had a passion for reading and children and this love helped guide me in my career path.

My classroom is a structured, safe, and encouraging environment.  Students will enjoy hands-on learning activities, be challenged to believe in themselves, and work together with classmates.  We will take chances, make mistakes, learn and grow together.  I believe in teamwork and communication.  Your child’s safety, success, and well-being are my top priorities, but I cannot achieve this without you.  We are a team.   We are a family.  We are Hartman Knights!
