It’s so nice to have you visit my web page to learn a little more about me.  Teaching is my second career.  I was an award-winning television journalist for more than 20 years.  In that time, I produced and anchored newscasts, reported and what I am most proud of, completed two documentary series that had me traveling the world.

Having grown up in South America, I never anticipated my Spanish ability would become my profession.  I have been a proud bilingual teacher for many years and I’ve taught at all grade levels. Kinder is my favorite. 

I love interacting with the little ones and watching how much knowledge they acquire in a year.  They never cease to amaze me. 

My classroom is usually buzzing with learning and interaction.  I know kids learn through play so I try to incorporate as much group- and teamwork as possible. And a lot of movement. 

Thank you so much for entrusting your children to me.  I am thrilled to have them in my classroom.

Que gusto que visita mi sitio en el web para aprender un poco más sobre mí. La enseñanza es mi segunda carrera. Fui periodista de televisión y radio durante más de 20 años. En ese tiempo, produje y emití noticieros, reporté, y de lo que estoy más orgulloso, completé dos series documentales que me hicieron viajar por el mundo.

Como pasé varios años en América del Sur, nunca anticipé que mi habilidad en español se convertiría en una profesión. He sido una orgullos maestro bilingüe durante muchos años y he enseñado en todos los niveles de grado. Kínder es mi favorito.

Me encanta interactuar con los más pequeños y ver cuánto conocimiento adquieren en un año. Ellos nunca dejan de sorprenderme.

Mi salón de clases suele estar lleno de aprendizaje e interacción. Sé que los niños aprenden a través del juego, así que trato de incorporar la mayor cantidad posible de trabajo en grupo y en equipo. Y mucho movimiento.
