Hello!! My name is Vanessa Ortega and I will be your 5th grade teacher this year. I am excited to be your child's teacher and working together with you to make this year successful. This will be my 3rd year teaching 5th grade. I previously taught Pre-K for a year here at Crestview. I also have 7 years experience as a teacher assistant in Pre-K and Special Education. I graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word in May 2016 with a Bachelor in Interdisciplinary Studies and currently certified EC-6 with a Minor in Reading.
