Hello and welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Becky Justice, and I am so excited to get to work with your child this year. I have been teaching for a combined total of 11 years, this is my seventh year in public school. My years include teaching in Brownfield ISD, New Deal ISD, Pre-K at a Montessoori School, and this is my fourth year in JISD. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies in may 2010 from Texas Tech University. I am certified to teach EC-6th grade. My husband, our daughter Macie, and myself moved to San Antonio from Lubbock in December of 2017 to be closer to family in my hometown of Fredericksburg. Our daughter, Macie, is in the 3rd grade and keeps us quite busy. I am a big family person so, whenever we can get together with family, we do! I enjoy cooking, traveling, reading, going to movies, driving around the Hill Country, and watching my Texas Tech Red Raiders!!! I come from a family of educators so, needless to say, education seems to just run in my blood. I have always known I wanted to be a teacher knowing how much of an impact I can make in the lives of each child that comes through my class. Being in a classroom brings me complete joy. Your child is in the best possible hands every day, and I thank you for putting that trust in me. I believe every student deserves a safe and positive environment learn in. My goal is to help each child become the best critical thinker, problem solver, and lifelong learner that they can be. Parents, please know that I am here for you and your children.
