Happy School Year!  My name is Paula Briggs.  This is my nineteenth year of teaching and my fourth year  teaching life skills at Copperfield Elementary. A native San Antonian and a graduate of Trinity University,  I followed my dream and earned my teaching certification after a career in public relations and customer relations.  I have worked as a special education resource teacher, a full time co-teacher, a reading interventionist, and have taught both 3rd and 4th grade general education classes.  I took the leap to life skills a few years ago and have not looked back.  It is the best job ever!
