My nameis Ms. Guichard or Ms. G. I am ready to get this year started. This will be my 31st year teaching and my 14th year at Canclewood. 

I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. My family and I came to SanAntonio because of Hurricane Katrina and we decided to stay.  I graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana in 1982 with a B.F.A. in Graphics and Advertising Design. I continued my education by earning a Master's Accreditation in Education Certificate in 1992 from Xavier University.

I can't wait to meet all of my new 2nd grade students and their families. We are going to have a super fun, fantastic year. Let's continue to rewrite Candlewood's histrory!
