Mr. Jeffrey Smith
It is my pleasure to be able to go through the school year with you, and have a fantastic time as your social studies teacher at Woodlake Hills Middle School.
Allow me to speak about myself for a moment. I graduated High school in 2002 and went on to West Texas A&M University to receive a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies. I specialized in Cultural Studies and General Education. I have since received two Master's degrees from Liberty University.
I am a former active duty member of the United States Air Force, and still currently serving as a Chaplain in the USAF Reserve. I started teaching as a substitute teacher, and earned my teaching certification through Texas Teachers in 2017 as a probationary teacher, and earned my Standard Certification in 2018. I started teaching at Uvalde High School in Uvalde, TX, and then moved to Judson ISD in the fall of 2019 and am enjoying my time as a wildcat at Woodlake Hills Middle School. This year I have moved from 7th grade to 8th grade, teaching social studies. I hope to be able to look at our country not just in a historical manner, but to relive history to bring it to life in a new way.
