Hello, my name is Coach Allen and I am looking forward to an awesome year!   I have a passion for helping others and being a positive role model.  

Before coming to Kirby Middle School, I taught Physical Education for eleven years in San Antonio ISD.  Being there, I was also the boy's athletic coordinator, head football, head boy's basketball, head boy's soccer, and head boy's track coach.  Prior to getting into the education field, I was an exercise physiologist for a bariatric weight loss facility for two years.  Preceding that, I was the Fitness Manager of Gold's Gym for five years.  

I graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in 1997.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio which I obtained in 2004.  

I am a certified 4th-8th Generalist and EC-12 Physical Education.
