Ms. Rhodes
Welcome Wildcats!
My name is Ms. Rhodes and this is my 14th year teaching and 8th year with Judson Isd. I teach an elective course called Principles of Human Services, PHS, offered to 8th graders. Upon completion of my course, students will earn a high school elective credit. We will explore careers in the human services fields, as well as, discuss progams of studies offered at our JISD High School Campuses. How exciting!
This year I will also be participating in a educator leadership program through Holdsworth with two other WHMS teachers and our Academic Dean. I am very excited to be nominated for this opportunity to grow as an educator in my leadership skills and applying directly in my classroom immediately. My goal is to grow leaders in my classroom that leave WHMS with a plan for high school.
Personally, I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I have two grown children, Matthew and Julianne. Matthew is 27 and a successful General Manager in the car industry in Houston. Julianne is 23, married and living in Rota, Spain with her hubby, Rayshon. She is also a 2018 graduate of Judson High School. Go Rockets!
I look forward to meeting all my students and parents. Should you have any questions, please reach out to me via email at jrhodes@judsonisd.org or by calling the front office at 210-661-1110.
