Mrs. Sue Reininger

I am thrilled to be starting my 6th year at Candlewood Elementary.  This year I will happily be working with students as a Response to Intervention Teacher focusing on Math interventions in grades 3rd, 4th and 5th.  I look forward to this new experience and being able to work closely with your children.

I attended Trinity High School in Trinity, Texas.  After high school I attended East Texas State University which is now called Texas A&M University – Commerce where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in French.  After completing my undergraduate studies, I continued my education at Texas A&M University – Commerce and earned my Master of Educational Administration.

My first teaching position was in 1998 as a 4th grade teacher with Celeste ISD in Celeste, Texas.  In 2000, I began working at Campbell ISD, in Campbell, Texas again as a 4th grade teacher.  I then moved to Bowie Elementary in Greenville ISD, in Greenville, Texas and continued working as a 4th grade teacher.  In 2003, I move to Comal ISD where I worked as the Elementary Assistant Principal at Rahe/Bulverde Elementary for three years and then Goodwin/Frazier Elementary for 4 more years.  In 2009 I moved to Blanco Elementary in Blanco, Texas Where I took a job as the Elementary Campus Principal.  Following my time with Blanco ISD, I became District Principal for a small school district with a student population of 200 Pre-K to 12th, Dime Box ISD in Dime Box, Texas.  Finally 2014 I came to Candlewood Elementary as the campus RTI Facilitator.   This was my position for the last 5 years.  This year I am excited to take on a different role with Candlewood in Judson ISD as an RTI Teacher.

I am planning to have a wonderful year working with your children to give them the best education possible.
