Hi,

I'm Randy Millican.  I teach 8th grade Math and Algebra.  I grew up on the south side of San Antonio near Lackland AFB.  My father was on active duty in the US Air Force.  Math has always been easy for me.  I went to UTSA and received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.  I've always been fascinated by how math explains science.  I worked as a design engineer in Dallas for 13 years.  Often, I use math to design my circuits.

This is my 4th year teaching middle school math.  My experience has shown me that teaching is more about the teacher-student relationship.  Getting to know students is my favorite part of teaching.  Having that connection, seeing the ah-ha moment is truly exciting.
