Hello parents! I am super excited to share the year with my students again as well as welcome new Franz family members. I have taught at Ed Franz for five years now, first as a student teacher with Kindergarten, I was with third grade for two years, I am in my third year of fourth grade. I graduated from Texas A&M-San Antonio with my BA in interdisciplinary studies EC-6th May 2019. I graduated from the first full class of Karen Wagner and believe it is a privilege to teach in the district that helped shape me.

I have dreamt of being a teacher since I was four years old. I used to sit my younger siblings down and teach them to read. Education is a great passion of mine.

I am a naturalist, specializing in Lepidoptera, which is a fancy way of saying I research butterflies by taking pictures and notating what plants I find the caterpillars on. I also love to read, travel, and enjoy my three cats: Stardust, Luna, and Lil Mama. I also have two bearded dragons (lizard) named Smaug and Ruby who loves apples and bananas.

I believe that collaboration is the key to a successful school year and I look forward to working with each and everyone of you.
