Hello Patriots!

I am excited to begin my first year of teaching Art 1 and Art & Media Communications at Veterans Memorial High School. Prior to teaching, I was a full-time Artist and Art Instructor, and prior to that, an Assistant Basketball Coach for the University of Texas at Tyler. Native to Corpus Christi, Texas, I graduated from UT Tyler in 2017 with my Bachelor of Science in Communication where I played basketball for 4 years and won 3 ASC Conference Championships (Sweet 16,Elite 8) 

I have experience winning multiple Art competitions, as well as Spoken Word competitions. I have murals located in Arlington, Dallas, and San Antonio, Texas. There has never been a time in my life where Art was not impactful and important to me. I am a self-taught artist which speaks to my versatileness, persistence, and ability to adapt. I believe we are all students that are constantly learning.

I am excited about beginning my teaching career here in Judson ISD. I enjoy preparing today's students for tomorrow's challenges. I look forward to meeting all my students and parents and hope to have a great year!
