Hello and Welcome Patriots!!!!! I am Instructor Mireles and this class will be teaching Principles of Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security and Business Law.  My background is in Law Enforcement I have been a Police Officer since 2008, I graduated from the San Antonio College Law Enforcement Training Academy in 2007. I have worked for municipal and school district police departments. I have trained in ALERRT, NIMS, Gangs, Drug Interdiction, Crisis Intervention, Terrorism and a variety of other police topics. I have an Associates degree from San Antonio College and a Bachelors degree from University of Texas at San Antonio both in Criminal Justice. Currently, I am a TCOLE instructor at the First Responder's Training Academy at San Antonio College. I train Police Cadets in various topics related to policing so that they can become Certified Texas Peace Officers. I hope to have a great year introducing students into the world of Criminal Justice!
