Welcome to 5th Grade!

My name is Ashley Montiel and this is my first year at Park Village Elementary! I am so thrilled to be a part of the bulldog family as well as teaching 5th grade! Although I'm your teacher, I can't wait to get to know you and learn from YOU as well!

I graduated from UTSA (go runners!) in December of 2018 with my Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a certification in EC-6. I spent my entire childhood living overseas in Japan because my father was in the Air Force. It is one of my favorite places and I hope one day to go back to visit. I've only lived in San Antonio for about 4 years but it has quickly become my home. 

One of my favorite things to do is be active and work out. I enjoy running and crossfit the most! I also love reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
