A little about what I do:
I am the initial Credit (IC) and Recovery Credit (RC) Co-Instructor for Ayrs House (Texas Juvenial Justice Depatment) within the Judson ISD. Students are enrolled into Veterans Memorial HS. Students are enrolled core classes (Math, Science, Social Studies, English Language Arts Reading) via computer based instruction called Edginuity and Physical Educaiton (PE) with a Coach from VMHS. Students receive credits upon successful completion the course requirements.
Students will be discharged and will resume education through their local school districts working to complete a High School Diploma.
A little about me:
This is my 2nd year at Veterans Memorial/Ayers house, 3rd year in JISD, and 5th year teaching.
I am retired from the US Army National Guard with the rank of Major with 23 years of service in Field Artillery. During that time I had experience in Logistics and Training where I found myself enjoying the classroom environment
I have a variety of hobbies to include homebrewing, cooking, travel, hunting, fishing, and especially my current passion of Brazillian Jiu Jitsu (the gentle art of folding clothes withe people still in them)
I am married with 2 kids.
