Aloha, I am Mrs. Warren at Converse Elementary. I am currently teaching kindergarten. Following is a little about me and I cannot wait to meet y'all!

Teaching is my second career. I stayed home with my children for 17 years, until my youngest went to college. I went back to college as an adult learner and earned my BA in Early Childhood Development in 2013 from Fresno Pacific University. A few years later, I earned a MEd in Curriculum & Instruction in Reading Intervention and English Language Development from Concordia University Portland. I have been in education for eight years. Most of my experience has been with the younger students; however, I have taught first, fifth, and briefly in third. 

My husband and I have been married 29 years. We have three sons, two daughter-in-laws, and three grandchildren. My kids and grandchildren all live on the west coast. We also have a two year old Great Dane named Lacey Belle. 

When I am not teaching, I love to read and travel. 

I'm excited about our new school year and I hope you are too.
