I am so excited to start the school year!

I am one of 3 RTI (Response to Intervention) teachers here at Converse Elementary School. I enjoy working with students who need additional help in Reading and Math through the RTI program. 

I have been teaching for 32 years both here in San Antonio and in the Los Angeles, CA area. I have taught bilingual education, as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) for English Language Learners from a wide variety of countries. I have taught K-3 self contained classes and K-5 Math. I have also served as Math Facilitator for my previous campus.  Although I like math, my greatest joy is helping students learn to read fluently!
