Ms. Bethany Smith
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! My name is Ms. Smith, and I am excited about returning to Judson High School.
A little bit about myself: I graduated from Judson in 2012 and obtained my associate's degree in Mathematics from San Antonio College in 2015. After that, I attended the University of the Incarnate Word, and I graduated in 2018 with my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, minoring in Secondary Education. Finally, I went to graduate school at Tarleton State University, and in the spring of 2020, I completed my Master's Degree in Mathematics with a focus on Mathematics Education. In other words, I love math, and I have three degrees to prove it!
This is my third year teaching at Judson High School, but I have other teaching experience too. While at the University of the Incarnate Word, I student-taught Algebra 1 and Precalculus at Roosevelt High School to obtain my teaching license. During my two years at Tarleton, I taught developmental mathematics classes as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.
