Welcome!  My father always told me "do something you love and you will never work a day in your life."  Becoming an educator has been one of the most rewarding decisions I have ever made.  This will be my 13th year in education.  I've taught at several local school districts, but JISD has been one of my absolute favorites.  I began my educational career as a science teacher.  Over time, I developed a strong passion for the culinary industry, and I decided to pursue a professional plant-based culinary certification.  I've been teaching culinary for the past 6 years, and have loved every minute of it.  CTE has been my favorite department to work in, because it embodies what education is all about.  I'm so fortunate to be a part of such an incredible department, and teach what I love.  I love being a life-long learner with the students, and witnessing their amazing talents in the kitchen.  I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us! ♥
