The Judson ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to call for a $302.5 million bond election with three separate propositions to appear on the November 2, 2021 ballot.  Taxpayers will not see a tax increase from this bond.

The decision to move forward with this bond came from the work of the district Growth & Planning Committee which was comprised of 43 teachers, parents, administrators, and community members.  This group developed a bond proposal by evaluating facility and technology needs assessments, researching innovative and flexible learning spaces and programs for our students, and discussing feedback and ideas from the community. The committee was focused on creating opportunities and choice, addressing the current and future needs of the district, and following the Board Priorities.

    • Foster 21st Century Skills: Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication
    • Emable teachers to be the best possible facilitators of learning
    • Ensure facilities are equitable throughout the district
    • Dream big: do not limit ourselves

All Judson ISD schools will benefit from this bond.

Continuing to provide up-to-date, hands-on technology devices for students of all ages is a key component of this effort. Improvements to the district-wide wireless infrastructure will support the increasing demand placed on the network utilized in classrooms and labs every day.
