Hello Everyone!

My name is Taylor Ikeni (pronounced e-KAY-nee) and I am absolutely proud to be a teacher at THE Karen Wagner High School. I love studying culture and history, so teaching African American Studies is right up my alley. I believe it is an honor to be an educator and I value each and every student I encounter. My philosophy is that the classroom is a "home away from home," so everyone is considered family in my presence. I look forward to all this school year has in store and I certainly can't wait to see how the students grow/develop over time, as we endeavor to #BringTheThunder every day. GO T-BIRDS!
