Hello Wildcats.  I am the Gifted/Talented and Academic Enrichment teacher here at Wortham Oaks.  My classroom focus is enriched instruction and creative problem solving through exploration of the Engineering Design Process. 

A little about me... I grew up in Southern California and after graduating from Rim of the World High School, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Go Badgers!  After graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Arts in English, I relocated to San Antonio.  My teaching career began in 2002 at Booker T. Washington Elementary School in SAISD.  During my years at Booker T., I taught 3rd and 4th grade.  In 2015, I transferred to Judson ISD and spent three years teaching 4th grade at Masters Elementary School. In 2018, I was honored to be offered a position teaching at Wortham Oaks.  It has been such a wonderful experience being a part of this learning community since the school first opened.  I firmly believe that a child will reach their greatest educational and social potential when we work as a team: child, parent, and teacher together.
