Hello, and welcome to 5th grade at Wortham Oaks Elementary, home of the Wildcats!  I truly enjoy teaching 5th grade, and I am looking forward to making connections and memories together!

I am a graduate of Uvalde High School (Uvalde, Texas) and the University of Texas at San Antonio, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I began my teaching career in South San Antonio ISD at Miguel Carrillo Elementary, 1995-2001. In 2003, I was grateful for the opportunity to be a part of opening up a new school in Judson ISD at Mary Lou Hartman Elementary, where I taught for the next fifteen years.In 2017  I was offered that opportunity once again, and I jumped at the chance at being a part of the Wortham Oaks Wildcats team!  

This is going to be another amazing year in 5th grade!  #theFutureisWOW
