This will be my 14th year in education.  I spent 8 years in Kindergarten before becoming a Special Education teacher last year.  I love teaching and watching children learn and grow to be their best.  One of my favorite things is to look back on the first day of school and see the growth each student makes, so we can celebrate together. 

I graduated from Wayland Baptist University with my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I also obtained a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I am certified in Generalist EC-4, Special Education, and ESL. In 2019, I received my Education Administration certification.  I have learned so much working with students and families and I look forward to learning more during this school year.

I was born in Charleston, South Carolina but raised in San Antonio. I am blessed to have an amazing husband of 32 years, 2 beautiful daughters, an amazing son-in-law, a 17-month-old grandson and a new granddaughter on the way.

I am so excited about being at Escondido Elementary again this year.
