Welcome! My name is Courtney Owens and I am one of the Physical Education teachers here at Metzger MS and also coach Volleyball, Basketball and Track. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Tx and received my Bachelor's degree in Health Studies at Texas Southern University. Our mission here is to have our students and athletes reach their self-actualized potential by adapting and achieving personal goals as a student and athlete so they can live a purposeful and abundant life.
