Mrs. TJ Stockwell

Hello, my name is Mrs. TJ Stockwell and I am very excited for our year together! In class we will cover topics from the first exploration of the United States to the time period after the Civil War known as Reconstruction. We will utilize maps, primary documents, writing assignments, projects, timelines, and many other exciting tools to explore the formation of our nation.

I received my BA in Middle Level Education from Stephen F. Austin University and am certified in 4-8 and 7-12 Social Studies. This is my first official year to teach in my own classroom, but I have been a substitute and a teacher aide in middle schools for 15 years. I married my high school sweetheart exactly one year after high school in 1999 and we had our daughters Rebekah in 2002, and Lizzie in 2004. I love American History and am excited to teach your children and model how hard work pays off.
