Hello, my name is Sady Bell and I’m very excited to be teaching 2nd grade at Franz Leadership Academy for the 2022-2023 school year!

I was born in Brooklyn, NY and I am a first generation American and college graduate born to Caribbean parents (my mom is from Trinidad and my dad is from Grenada). Ever since I was a little girl I have known I wanted to be a teacher and work with helping kids in the community. When I was three, I moved to San Antonio and have pretty much been here ever since. I’ve been a part of the district since I was in 1st grade at Miller’s Point elementary, then Kitty Hawk, and graduated from Judson high school in 2009 (woop woop)! After graduation, I went to Trinity Valley community college where I was a part of the Cardette dance team and majored in business administration for two years and graduated in 2011. Shortly after I graduated, I moved back to San Antonio, where I attended St. Phillips with my associates in early childhood education. Then I finally hit one of my goals and started attending UTSA, majoring in interdisciplinary studies, where I graduated magna cum laude in the fall of 2017. As soon as I graduated, I started subbing for the spring semester and officially started off my teaching career as a first grade ELA teacher for one year and then switched over to teaching 3rd grade writing and now I'm here at Franz!

Outside of school and teaching, I love to dance, spend time with my family, eat, and have fun. I’ve been married to my college sweetheart for 7 years and we have 3 amazing boys together.
