Meet the Teacher

Welcome to Copperfield Elementary!

My name is Mary Punjwani, and I am the Pre-K 4 teacher. I recently moved to San Antonio, and this will be my second year teaching at Copperfield Elementary School. I have been teaching for over 10 years, and I can’t wait to begin teaching my students.  It’s going to be a fun year filled with lots of learning and new adventures. 

I am from Minneapolis, Minnesota, where I attended St. Catherine University, and received my degree in Communication Studies and Early Childhood Education.  I began teaching after graduating, and have never looked back since, as I knew this field was perfect for me.
