Growing up at Randolph Air Force Base, Ms. Riggs considers herself a San Antonio native. She attended university at Fordham University in New York, New York and lived there while earning her bachelor's degree in English. Afterwards, Ms. Riggs attended UTSA for her teaching program. She has taught all grade levels of English over the last five years, including some classes of creative writing and debate. This year, Ms. Riggs is teaching English IV. She has a love for British literature and is excited to share these stories with her students, as her students likewise share their stories with her. When she is not teaching, Ms. Riggs enjoys Dungeons & Dragons, Gothic horror novels, and spending time with her loved ones. Ms. Riggs has three rescue dogs: Dodger, Belle, and Luna.
