I am from Tennessee and grew up around Ft. Campbell and the 101st Airborn Div. I attended Tennessee Technological University and majored in Biology with a focus on Zoology. Upon graduation, I began my career at the Nashville Zoo. When my wife, Alex, was accepted into grad school at Texas State, we moved to San Antonio. It was here that I began my career in Biomedical Research. Over the last decade, I have had the privilege of working with experts to help combat HIV, TB, ZIKA, COVID-19, and make advancements in combat trauma care. It was also during this time that I found my passion for outreach and public education. When the time came to consider a different career path, Wagner High School was there with its new Biomedical Science Program and so here I am.

I am teaching Human Body Systems and Medical Interventions.
