Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Cristela E Satterfield
I am so excited to be part of the Wagner High School family and to be working with the students to be successful in English 1.
I have been teaching for seventeen (17 years), all of them at secondary level, teaching English at all grade levels. During my free time I enjoy gardening, crocheting, reading, and spending time with family. I am a grandmother and enjoy spending time with my grandchildren. My husband and I enjoy going on road trips and visiting new places during our time off.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English degree from the University of Texas Pan American, now known as the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, in Edinburg, Texas. My minor is in History and this past May, 2023, I earned my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction degree from Grand Canyon University in Phoniex, Arizona.
My goal for this year is to help students build their confidence in being able to analyze the readings and improve their writing skills.
I look forward to meeting each of you and working with you to help you achieve your academic goals in English 1.
Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns at firstname.lastname@example.org
You can also call the campus and ask for my extension during my conference period, 4th period.
