Hello, I am Mrs. Miranda Smith and I am teaching English II this year. This is my first year at Wagner High School and my first time teaching in Texas. Before moving to San Antonio, I was an English teacher in New York for three years. 

I was born and raised in a small Upstate New York town. Once I completed high school, I continued my education at SUNY Buffalo State College in Buffalo, New York, where I earned my first Bachelors degree. I continued my studies at Elmira College, where I earned a degree in English Literature and Teaching Certification. I will complete a Master's in Literacy Education in the Spring of 2023 from SUNY Oneonta.

I look forward to working closely with my students and their family members! I am excited to have the opportunity to work with the Wagner family!
