Welcome to First Grade! 

My name is Celena Lopez. I am originally from Floresville, Texas but I have lived in San Antonio for the past 7 years. My husband and I have 2 wonderful little boys. This will be my 12th year teaching, but my first year at Crestview Elementary. I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade and 5th grade. I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Early Childhood-6th Grade.   I am also ESL (English as a Second Language) and    GT (Gifted and Talented)certified.

I am excited about this school year! I am looking forward to teaching your child and working together with you to make this school year a success!
